The Yale Collegium Musicum, directed by Grant Herreid, presents a concert of political music from ages past: medieval French political satire from the Roman de Fauvel; ceremonial music from Renaissance Italy, seventeenth century German songs for the Winter King and Queen of Bohemia; and English music of execution and restoration.
